Adding one or more rooms to the house enhances the value of the property. You may want to add extra bedrooms, a home office, a sunroom (sunbathing in your own home) or a family room. Additional rooms can be built by rearranging the interior design (which may involve an alteration to the internal structure) or you may want to grow the footprint of your house. In both cases a permit from the local authorities will be required, based on an architectural drawing, a Civil Engineer’s calculation and possibly other professionals such as M&E Engineers.
